October’s gathering of the world’s glass industry in Düsseldorf, Germany, for the Glasstec show was a welcome return to normality after so many years of virtual interactions. For my part, it was not only an opportunity to reconnect with European-based colleagues and industry friends but an opportunity to learn firsthand how sustainability initiatives are accelerating there.
