Retrofit with PPS-GR tubes for efficient and reliable operation
Previously, stainless steel 904 and enamelled steel tubes in the cold section of the heat exchanger led to corrosion and failures due to aggressive acids. With our corrosion-resistant PPS-GR tubes, the 500kW heat recovery system developed by Rizzi Engineering will run trouble-free and efficiently converting excess energy from January 2024 on.
While the entire system was carefully built and delivered by Rizzi Engineering, our supply of the PPS-GR tubes was critical in improving the durability and efficiency of the entire operation. This project is a demonstration of the significant benefits of Technoform's PPS-GR tubes in conditions that require high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance.
