2. Purpose and legal basis
We process your data based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and all other data protection laws relevant to us.
For our applicants and employees, we store information necessary for personnel administration and carry out payroll accounting:
- Master- and contact data
- Health data
- Wage data
- Social security data
- Family data
- Application data
- Contract data
In application procedures, assessment centers may also be held to select suitable applicants. In this context, photos of applicants can be created and added to the application documents in printed form.
The processing of the data is based on § 26 BDSG. Without the provision of this data, the processing of applications or the subsequent management of the employment relationship is not possible. The data is stored for the duration of the employment relationship and after its end until the expiry of the statutory retention periods. In the case of applicants, the data is deleted 6 months after the end of the application process.
Exceptionally, we also store the data for longer if the applicant has consented to this or legal retention periods make this necessary.
3. Recipients of personal data
We only pass on your data to third parties if this should become necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose. Furthermore, data may be passed on to authorities and social security institutions on the basis of statutory provisions in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c and e GDPR. Likewise, data may be forwarded to customers and other business partners to the extent necessary for operational purposes.
For the processing of our accounting, payroll accounting, preparation of balance sheets and other tax matters, data is forwarded to our external tax advisor to the extent necessary for operational purposes. In addition, in various cases we use processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, which may receive data from us or have access to your data in connection with their services.
4. Your rights
You have the following rights with respect to us with regard to your personal data:

- Right to revoke consent
- Right to have data corrected or deleted
- Right to restrict processing
- Right to object to processing
- Right to data portability
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority regarding the way in which we process your personal data.
